LISER is a publicly funded research institute located in Belval and devoted to applied empirical research in economic, social and spatial sciences. Interest in housing related topics would be an advantage.
This position will cover the following tasks
participation in the preparation of a questionnaire for the interviews with residents (questions related to residential mobility, residential preferences, choices and aspirations, and values);
conducting the interviews with beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries of affordable housing in Luxembourg (16);
transcription of the interviews;
participation in qualitative data analysis;
participation in the preparation of a questionnaire and a workshop with stakeholders;
participation in internal team meetings and support in the preparation of documents for meetings, drafting the minutes.
Background in social sciences (sociology, psychology, social geography or other relevant);
Familiar with means-end chain model framework;
Familiar with qualitative research methods (in particular individual interviews, workshops with stakeholders) and qualitative data analysis;
Fluent in French and English; knowledge of other languages practiced in Luxembourg would be an asset (Luxembourgish, German, Portuguese, …)
Familiar with the software to analyze qualitative data (e.g. NVivo) will be an asset;
Organized, rigorous and able to work independently;
